Bury St Edmund’s town centre annual event, organised by Our Bury St Edmunds Business Improvement District (BID), signalled the start of the Christmas season, held on Thursday 14 November 2024. Crowds gathered to see the town light up with Christmas decorations and join in with the festive activities. Bury Drop In volunteers did an outstanding job of handing out over 400 mince pies while chatting to people about how the charity support people experiencing homelessness in Bury St Edmunds; finding out more information about our services, what emergency provisions are given out and how they can get involved.
