Small charity, big impact

A national celebration of the big impact small charities have in communities across the UK.

This Small Charity Week (22–29 June), Bury Drop In is proud to be part of a national celebration of the vital role small charities play in communities across the UK.

This year’s campaign, Small charities. Big impact., shines a light on the difference small charities make every day, supporting people, strengthening communities and creating change where it matters most.

In West Suffolk, small charities like ours play a crucial role in supporting people in crisis and provides immediate and holistic support and effective access to a wide range of services to homeless and vulnerably housed people in Bury St Edmunds and surrounding districts.

As part of Small Charity Week, Bury Drop In will run a week long social media campaign highlighting our work, helping to raise awareness of the impact of small charities and the communities we serve.

Robert Green, Chair of Trustees at Bury Drop In, said:

“Small charities, like Bury Drop In, are part of the framework of our communities. Every day we see the difference that local, trusted support can make to people’s lives. Small Charity Week is a chance to recognise that impact and to make sure the voices of small charities, and the communities we support, are seen and heard.”

This Small Charity Week, support a small charity making a big impact in Bury St Edmunds. Visit Bury Drop In and get involved today.
