Register to vote if you are homeless or have no fixed address.

If you are homeless or do not have a fixed address, you can still register to vote. You will need to provide an address of somewhere you spend a substantial part of your time, for example a hostel, outreach centre or a friend’s place.

You may be fined if you are asked to register to vote but fail to do so without a valid reason, for example a long stay in hospital, or you have severe learning difficulties.

You can register to vote if you are a resident in England (usually live) and aged 16 or over (but you will not be able to vote until you are 18).
