High Sheriff Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, visited Bury Drop In to find out more about the Christian charity and what challenges it may face during the cost of living crisis. The High Sheriff was accompanied by the Rev Canon Philip Banks, Melanie Craig, CEO of Suffolk Community Foundation and Andrea Pittock, head of grants programme at the foundation. Robert Green, chair of trustees for Bury Drop In, said: “The visit from the High Sheriff has meant that we have met other people from different organisations. Through those relationships with them, hopefully we’ll be able to access services, ideas and finance which will help us offer services for our homeless and vulnerably housed guests.”
