Councillor Richard O’Driscoll learns more about drop in service

We welcomed Richard O’Driscoll, Labour Councillor representing Minden ward to the drop in to learn more about our service and how we support homeless and vulnerable people in Bury St Edmunds. Cllr O’Driscoll was appointed as Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Housing in May 2023. His entire life has been spent working in the NHS and social care, and this passion comes across as he chatted to guests and volunteers about making sure people get the services and support they need. He was accompanied by Sophia Stennett, Senior Support Worker, to see how we work together with the West Suffolk Council Rough Sleeper Service and foodbanks.
